Qt vs. MFC

Philippe Fremy has written a nice piece describing the benefits of the Qt toolkit over Microsoft Foundation Classes (MFC). For those of you not familar with Qt, it is the toolkit used by the KDE desktop as well as the Qtopia environment featured on the Sharp Zaurus PDA. Qt - unlike MFC - works on Windows, Linux, UNIX, and Mac OS X (Aqua).

I have been programming in both Qt and MFC. I would like to share with you my experience of the differences between using the two toolkits. I am not a professional writer. So this article certainly is not as slick and clean as something you would find in a professional website or magazine. This is just my experience, that I share with you, in my own words.
