altogether.  Given my own recent experience, and my run-in with Pamela
Jones, I don't put much past anyone.  Penguin Pete struck me as a reasonable
human being until Tux500 occurred.  All of a sudden he made libelous claims
about the campaign and dragged my name through the mud (tried to, anyway).
PJ hasn't responded to any of my e-mails since I wrote that she attacked
Kevin Carmony, and I now have grave concerns about the definition of
editorial neutrality.

If posts are disappearing in a public forum, that's a problem, any way you
stack it.  If the author is lying about his posts disappearing, that's as
much a problem as disappearing posts.  If a moderator, who has more access
to the system logs than I do tells me to prove my posts were deleted, I
would have a problem with that.  There are good and bad people in every
community, near as I can tell.  It always helps to keep that in perspective.
