Yeah. Last spring we were looking for a new church and decided to go
Presbyterian. We found one that looked good, and attended it for quite
a few weeks, and my wife was about ready to join (and I probably would
have been OK with it too). We decided to go in and talk to the pastor
because I've never gone to a Presbyterian church before (my wife has).
We had always assumed it was the more conservative branch, but my wife
asked, and when the pastor said they were PCUSA we were shocked. I
never had any complaints with his Bible teaching, and he stressed that
they were on the "conservative end" of the PCUSA and that if the
denomination did anything too crazy they would likely leave.

Nothing wrong with that church itself, but we reasoned that we didn't
want our tithes supporting PCUSA denominational activities, so we went
and found a PCA church. We're still pretty happy there.
