When I was much younger, I started to read all the exciting
underground stuff I could get my hands onto. Hacker manifestos etc
etc.

To be honest I think the reason hackers, virus junkies don't target
NIX's is two fold.
One, yes they are harder to crack.
Two, becuase they are not the "enemy."

The virus junkies use and love NIX's and thus target the oposition
that being Windows.
I can imagine you may find that OSX will start to be targeted far
before Linux does.
And this may even be by the BSD guys.

I think it is a respect thing and the junkies just like winding the
windows people up.
That and because it makes the news more.
