Ed, are you listening? Yes, I want to install FreeBSD. Here's my question: CAn
FreeBSD be installed into one single partition? Here's the reason for my
question. I have two 80GB hard drives: hda and hdb. Here's the partition table
of hda:

Partition Table for /dev/hda

               First Last
 # Type Sector Sector Offset Length Filesystem Type (ID) Flag
-- ------- ----------- ----------- ------ ----------- -------------------- ----
 1 Primary 0 24579449 63 24579450 W95 FAT32 (LBA)
(0C) Boot
 2 Primary 24579450 156296384 0 131716935 W95 Ext'd (LBA) (0F) None
 5 Logical 24579450 25109594 63 530145 Linux swap / So (82) None
 6 Logical 25109595 49689044 63 24579450 Linux (83) None
    Logical 49689045 63408554 0 13719510 Free Space
None
 7 Logical 63408555 117322694 63 53914140 Linux (83) None
 8 Logical 117322695 137789504 63 20466810 Linux (83) None
 9 Logical 137789505 138817664 63 1028160 Linux swap / So (82) None
10 Logical 138817665 156296384 63 17478720 Linux (83) None

As usual, Windows is on hda1. That's where I want to put FreeBSD. So, the
question is, can I installl FBSD into that partition without disturbing any of
the other partitions? The reason I don't want to disturb any of the other
partitions is because I have Slackware on hda6, 7, & 8.

Comments, advice?
