[CS-FSLUG] Using ltree To Work With Hierarchical Structures in PostgreSQL

Hi all,

I have struggled for a long time to figure out the best way to work with a
hierarchical category structure, and finally tried out ltree with great
results.  Here is a blog post to explain it all:

ltree sure makes working with hierarchical data much easier than common
table expressions and ugly parent-child table designs.  :-)

Hopefully, this will help some of you who work with hierarchical structures
in relational databases.
