That is correct. Now, considering his problem as it relates to my
experience with SUSE Linux, I've yet not been able to copy a CD with
XCDRoast or X3b, including M$ application disks when one is using either
one as root. As far as I can tell, both will reproduce a disk byte for
byte. Why this isn't possible with a movie DVD, I'm not sure because it
SHOULD be........assuming a byte for byte copy is produced, therefore I
use a command line utility that gets around the DRM. I personally think
I have a MORAL right to make an archival copy of a DVD I own, no matter
if MickySoft or the entertainment industry thinks I do or not.
