I have just tried this vimtutor in Konsole and am rather confused.

First, on opening my Konsole I see this
bash-2.05b$
instead of of the longer line I've seen before, which lists user name, dir/
and so forth. Don't know what I did to get that.

But I typed in  vimtutor and then got this message;

Oh no! now that all disappeared! Had another screen and when I tried to click
somewhere it disappeared too, and now it is a blank screen. I feel like this
thing is teasing me.

Oh just a sec! I clicked on the session menu and discovered there are more
than one type of session screens. I was in a screen session and now back in
root session. But now when I type vimtutor at the prompt I get this 3-line
message again which I can't seem to copy.

Oh well, time to go do something else. I'll have to explore some more another
day.
