Ok, before more speculation on my "no calculators!" comment occurs, please
remember that I am a woman, and refuse to admit my age, so my meaning
was that the guys of the reading audience are *not* to use calculators 
to compute my age.  

I don't have to tell the women in the audience, they already knew this!

And for my job at HP, yes, God has blessed me greatly with my job, but
with the change in the US economy, all our jobs are in danger; we
are all under the same stress as the rest of our non-HP brethren.  I
have seen layoffs happen all around me, and I am currently working on
a project with 12 outsourced engineers from India, and that scares all
of us.

I forgot to mention I'm a recent EE.  I did LaserJet firmware at HP 
for a couple of million years :-), then went back to grad school in
2000, and got my MSEE (and HP paid for the whole thing!).  So, I'm 
kind of like a newbie employee at my company of ~20 years!
