[CS-FSLUG] Churches Using GNU/Linux

Our Saviour's Lutheran Church LCMC is currently exploring all our options in regards to both our webpage and also whether we are going to use windows or linux based machines (naturally I am campaigning for linux). Indeed, I am tempted to go over to computer surplus over in Tacoma and buy a "barebones" system and a few components to build a complete system and install either Red Hat 8/9 or perhaps Lycoris on it, then give it to the church. All in all, I figure that a computer that is built by hand will run me about $100 given that I am using used parts. Admittedly, we are a small congregation. But with the fact that we now have a webpage, we do hope to grow.

Pax,

Christopher
