Indeed,

The Soviets traditionally attempted to counter what the US military was
up to.
Ol Gorby saw a time coming real soon when US technology would so far
surpass
their own that there was no possible way to catch up with the resources
available.
In the face of Reagan's blank check to military research (see Tesla's
Death Ray,
aka Starwars), they surrendered! Better to seek peace when the odds were
even
than to seek peace at the hands of a superior foe.

Perhaps you should check out the old testament law a bit. See how God
handled
the apples rotting society. See how God handled a people who, unless
they were
all killed, would haunt Israel even to this day. Take a minute to ponder
this concept,
which comes from God Himself.

Indeed, I would say send missionaries and aid organizations into these
regions to help
them change their ways. If they'd stop blowing them up, we'd probably
get somewhere.

>38"You have heard that it was said, 'Eye for eye, and tooth for tooth.'

Indeed, with the common people this works and should be practiced by our
soldiers as well
as the civilians stationed there. The leaders, on the other hand, the
power mad satan puppets
who inspire "others" to Jihad and Martyrdom, those who initiate the
great evils of the middle
east, they should be brought to justice (and sometimes that means war if
they happen to be the
leader of a nation).
