Realistically, I don't think that was the point of his post.  It wasn't 
that he found it offensive and just didn't want to see it anymore, but a 
gentle admonishment to the list that we need to be careful of our 
attitudes as followers of Christ.  God calls us to be different from 
those around us.  To actually *love* our enemies.

This doesn't mean we agree with their practices, beliefs, morals, 
lifestyle, etc. but that we love them.  I'm sure that God wasn't pleased 
with the practices, beliefs, morals, lifestyle, etc. of humans, but he 
still loved us enough to send his son.  I'm sure that God wasn't pleased 
with the practices, beliefs, morals, lifestyle, etc. of any of us, but 
he still loved us enough to save us (me included!).  And we are called 
to be followers of him.

I have an uncle that was a CEO of a technology company (similar to BG), 
and I know that his practices, beliefs, morals, lifestyle, etc. weren't 
Christian or anywhere close, but how could they be?  He is not a 
Christian!  How can we expect someone who is not a Christian to follow 
the morals of God when we Christians have a hard enough time even with 
the help of the Holy Spirit?  I don't agree with much of what my uncle 
does, but that doesn't mean I don't pray for him and love him with the 
help of God.
