True, tradition often masquerades as truth, though so does change
for its own sake.

Rarely do people research the background of what they imagine to
be new (automatically good or bad) nor what is old (automatically
good or bad), as always people tend to run on shallow emotion rather
than prayerful wisdom, thus are easy prey for a clever enemy.

An association or denomination by definition represents a group which
has settled on certain doctrine and dogma - that is what defines them -
and when new to an area one will seek them out for some sense of
predictability.

Many religious schools are bound to associations or denominations
and are expected to promote the doctrines and dogmas thereof.

The best educational institutions are populated by humble teachers
who represent various perspectives honestly and challenge students
to study them for strengths and weaknesses.

While a Biblical educational institution may never teach anything
as truth, that is plainly anti-Biblical, it must inform students of the
competing religions of the enemy so as to prepare them.

Secular educational institutions likewise have an obligation to
present students with the broadest possible awareness of and
experience with the major tools and views of the 'marketplace'.

In the case of technology is it almost never necessary to create
an educational environment that is anything but OS-agnostic.

Every institution should equally acquaint students with Android,
Apple, Linux, and Microsoft ... and soon TIZEN as the major
players in the technology marketplace - because no matter their
profession they will intersect with them all.

To propagandize students to any one, to the exclusion or intentional
denigration of the others, is to handicap them. That is unethical and
irresponsible.

IMHO, YMMV ...
