I switched to port 587 and all worked. Thanks for the lead. When I seen that 
you specified a port, I tried 465 and that didn't work. So I tried 587 and 
viola mail sent and returned.

Thanks guys, I appreciate the replies and help.

If the list receives this message, then things are working just fine. :-)

Now I can take all my working settings and set me up a box for a mail and file 
server.
