[CS-FSLUG] Laptop and Linux - what to do?

I would love to use Linux on my laptop.  I use Freespire on my desktop
but have to use XP on the laptop as I know no way of running any GPS
mapping software for my boat on Linux.  Does anyone know of a Linux
compatible GPS mapping program?
