Fair enough. But like I said - the backup disk will not likely work if the
backup computer has different hardware from the original. Three or more
hardware differences (motherboard, cpu, etc) and WinXP will *NOT*
boot. You will have better luck moving the original hard disk (not the
clone), since that will be one *less* hardware change. I know a guy who
said he tested this himself. He made one or two hardware changes and WinXP
still booted; make three hardware changes and system did not boot up.
Also, if your WinXP came preloaded on the system, then the license does not
allow transfer to another machine - even if hardware is the same and it
"works". If you bought a full retail version, then you can transfer the
license (assuming you can make it work).
