I have a Linux box for myself and my wife has an XP box. They are not
networked (never could get them to work that way) but ther are on the
same router to the cable connection.

I want to clone the 80GB drive in my wifes XP machine. I have two
80GB drives in it now and they are both recognised by XP. C: is the
boot drive. I want to clone C: to D: so that it can be used as the
boot drive in another computer.

It has been suggested by some that having the linux box (Linspire) I
can use that computer to do the job...but no one knows how.

I would be happy to do it under XP but read as I may I cannot find
that capability in XP. It may be there, but I cant see it. Maybe
putting the current D: in as C: and doing a system restore then a
COPY D: C: /s would do the job, but I dont want to screw it up so I
would like to hear from someone who knows what they are talking
about...I sure dont.
