Okay, let me flog this horse one more time. I finally got SELinux fixed. 
I understand it enough to know it adds a layer of security internally 
should someone/something slip past the firewall. It watches for file 
changes, makes it much harder to get root, etc. It wrote a couple of 
changes to the iptables rules. I followed your recommendations, too, and 
the result is this. Standard disclaimer about wrapping:
