Here's the Linux News Round-up for this week. I have included stories
published by LXer editors. I encourage you to check out the rest of the news
as well. LXer does have an RSS feed, if you like. BTW, any of you who enjoy
writing should feel free to submit articles as well.

Corel's Support of OpenDocument:
http://lxer.com/module/newswire/view/52684/index.html

With OASIS ODF member Corel chanting a Microsoft mantra on OpenDocument - that
is, they'll support it if they see customer demand - Linux News wonders aloud
if a "family" connection between Corel and Microsoft exists.

Linux not standing in wait as Microsoft sinks its own ship
http://lxer.com/module/newswire/view/52350/index.html

With the traditional Microsoft news media turning their collective ear to the
rest of the industry, you have to suspect a changing of the guard. But Linux
companies don't seem to guage their efforts by what the industry says about
Microsoft. Linux just keeps chugging along.

Bye bye, Google:

One guy said "Bye bye, Google", after learning that Google sensored a Chinese
dissident's blog, thus cooperating with the Chinese government.

Excitement, Doubt and Ridicule Greet Linux Community-Driven Ad Campaign
http://lobby4linux.com/WordPress/?p=75

Helios had no illusions that this would be an easy sell. Oh, selling to the
mainstream? That's a piece of cake. It's the elbows and thumbs to the eye
from the Community that is amusing. Again, some argue that the Linux
Community does not exist...only zealots and freeloaders...
