The Bible makes it clear that fallen humans require
structure if they are to live in a civilized context.
We need church accountability and government structure
because only a minority are saved and few of the saved
are meaningfully discipled.

The Bible teaches that one must work, if one can do so,
if one wishes to eat. What we know about the reality of
socialism in the fallen world is that it is not Biblical,
it enslaves the lazy to dependency and the productive to
the support of the lazy.

WalMart is a secular company in a secular country in a
secular world and functions according to secular standards.

WalMart is about as likely to respond to church boycotts
as was Disney and Hollywood -- they will also offer lip
service and stall until church folk lose interest.

We have enough failure in our own lives and those of our
congregations, we really do not need to be tilting at the
windmills of business and politics.

As I wrote Mr. Dobson at Focus on the Family many years
ago, seeing their obsession with politics, "... lasting
change only happens one heart at a time and political
change is only temporary."
