The Catholics are the largest owners of adoption agencies and hospitals.
I expect the Catholic church to get out of those businesses with the
imposition of governments(state & fed, etc) pushing them to distribute
birth control, do abortions, and allow gay/single adoptions.
NOTE: As a adoptive parent of three kids from foster care, I have to add
that all states allow gay adoption. Most just do it by letting single
people adopt children. If this is an issue you are concerned with, then
you might want to check out this back door around the citizens will.
