[CS-FSLUG] AC'97 audio

I am trying to play .kar (karaoke) files with kmid, but kmid will not play at 
all.

I checked in the control panel and I cannot get the section for MIDI to let me 
choose a device in the hardware section.

My soundcard has MIDI and It used to work but I never used it, but now I want 
to use it and it don't work.

I have ALSA installed, but I think im missing something.

Anyone know anything about this?
