Nathan,
Are you editing the file under Windows? I don't remember *exactly* which way
it goes, but the line-break character(s) at the end of the first line must
be a certain arrangement (i.e., [LF][CR]/[CR][LF]). Whichever way it's
supposed to be, it's the opposite in Windows.
