Ugh!  Try converting your wav's over to mp3 or something else with
some compression.  There is some loss, but you have to consider that
someone browsing on a web site does not want to click on an audio
link, and find it is a 50mb sound file.  That's enormous.  That may
actually solve part of your size issue to.
