Have any of you tried the Hauppage PVR tuner cards? I've got a celeron 400Mhz box up 24/7 (everything else is either suspended or powered off when not in use), which couldn't handle live encoding, but the PVR-250 card has hardware MPEG encoding, and the PVR-350 has both hardware encoding and decoding.
