David,
First of all, a warm welcome to the list :).
About the political discussions: It is requested of all members of the
list engaging in political posts or discussion, to prefix the subjects
of their posts with 'PD:'. In this way, it could be filtered out by
people who are not interested in such things.
About your particular position, while I can certainly say that is not in
agreement with many members of this list, I don't see a problem with
that.
I generally stay out of political discussions. I'm too swamped to enter
into that particular fray :).
So, please grab yourself a couch, get the popcorn and the iced tea, and
come into the conversation :)
