Just to stir the pot...

Some might say "no".  The gospel traditionally has spread quite well
(and some might say better, quicker, wider) when there has been
persecution and a sharp contrast to the world around us.  When the world
around us looks so much like us (or vise versa) how does anyone see the
need to change and the "advantage" of Christianity?  We already know
that THIS world is doomed.  Why should we try to save it?  Should we not
put more effort in changing the people so they can experience the above
in the NEXT world?
