That is true, I have seen this type of behavior in my classmates who were also
hearing impaired.
for me, I was the "quiet, keep to myself" type and In a way I still am I was
always afraid people wouldn't like me because I was hearing impaired, or I
would do something that would make people not like me.
I did everything, absolutly everything in my life to please my mother.
I was celibate until marriage, not because It is known in church, but because
I was a "Mama's boy" I knew my mother wouldn't approve of it. Man I went all
the way to making sure I didn't go over the speed limit when I got my license
to drive. LOL
My first girlfriend was when I was about 16 and is the same girl I married 1
month after I graduated from High School when I was 19. (yesterday was our 12
year anniversary)
So all in all, I understand what you mean now, and it's so great to know that
there are some people out there that understand.
Now I am so inspired to write about this in my blog, but I don't think I could
put it into words.
