[Foss-cafe] What calculator ?

 The former. The calculator accepts equations written pretty much like
you would write them on paper, for example:

   ((2+2)/2)2 or ((SIN 2)/2)((SIN 3)/2) or some other such. I've even
written some really obscure long ones like
((10-5)/((10+5)/2))/((200-100)/(200+100)/2)) ... they all work just like
they look like they should. :-)
