[CS-FSLUG] Christiansource Digest, Vol 124, Issue 10

Maybe it's just me and my eleven year old PC but I have been unable to read much of what Fred
and some others write because they forget to use plain text.
My understanding of this and other such mailing lists is that they use plain text to keep down
the size of archives.
Which raises another problem, when I click on a link for a scrubbed message I am taken to a
page at OFB which purports to keep archives but there are none even listed there.
Did I miss an earlier message explaining why archives are no longer maintained there?

On the other hand, since moving to Thunderbird I find writing in plain
monospaced text
not so easy. I guess if this message gets scrubbed I will fully
sympathize with Fred and
others. What I have done is to set a preference for plain text in my
address book entry
for this mailing list which should convert all to plain text.
My last concern is for line breaks which I have put in manually.
Don't you just love IT?
Georges
