BTW: There is no such thing as "Czechoslovakia" - that was an artificially
created nation of involuntarily-merged warring tribes with ancient 
animosities.
It only remained a simmering pot of resentment, pretending to be a nation,
due to the iron fist of the USSR (at once a common enemy and an enforcer
of discipline).

I used to love to listen to Radio Prague as a child and received a harsh 
lesson
in thuggery when the USSR clamped down on their effort to move toward a
more representative system.

Much of Eastern Europe is challenged by the darkness of sexual slavery and
pornography, substance abuse, deeply-embedded government corruption,
cults and ancient religious traditions -- they remain very vulnerable to 
the
siren-call of tyrants who prey upon fear, nationalism, & superstition.

Not that Western Europe is significantly more-healthy ... they just do a
better job of covering-up their terminal decadence.
