I think I would mostly agree. But, if I were in a sound congregation in the PC(USA), I would probably have a hard time leaving over a denominational thing. Given the "local option" system of this change, some whole presbyteries may refuse to go with the flow...

The Evanglical Free Church is the denomination that Trinity Evangelical Divinity School belongs to and to which Chuck Swindoll is a member. I was in it for about ten years after the church I was a member of left the UCC and joined it. It is a conservative, highly congregational denomination. Notably, it dots all the right i's theologically, so it gets a pass. Similar, I suppose, to Sovereign Grace Ministries, which has a very ominous cloud of abuse most folks ignore.

I am happily out of the E-Free for theological reasons, in addition to the others. I am much better suited to the Presbyterian world where I basically belonged.
