[CS-FSLUG] set awarning when finished?

Have you looked at Growl for Windows? It's probably a sledgehammer where a ball peen would do. One web site there is a list of applications that use growl for visual and audiable notifications. And it comes with a comand line tool, growlnotify, that can be called from batch/command files.
