Will This CES Be the Last?

It's possible that 2009 could be the swan song for the Consumer
Electronics Show, if dire predictions based on general impressions are
any guide. CES is definitely kicking off this week with decidedly less
hoopla than in previous years. Is it possible that the event known for
showcasing the coolest products and revealing the hottest trends is
losing its relevance? How much will the economic climate influence the
show's attendance and spirit?
