In some quarters, yes. Not in churches like Joel Olsteen...the "touchy,
feely, happy, happy" type social orders where sin is RARELY spoken about
from the pulpit, but real Bible churches....yes. It's unfortunate that I
didn't find out that much of the Apostles taught in the early church has
LONG been forgotten, or eliminated for whatever reasons over time - most
notable during the reformation. For example, MOST Christians today
wouldn't believe that on the Sabbath, service started in the morning and
didn't end till evening. It WAS an all-day affair. I've read some of the
Western Orthodox liturgy....beautiful wonderful stuff! If you can find a
REAL Anglican church near you, I think you'd find the service much to
your liking. MOST Episcopal today is, as you know, milk-toast
liberalized garbage, sad to say.
