Sorry I had not gone to see the list a while -busy!

OK, to answer your question:
The government is in a roll to revive "ancestral traditions". That
includes paganism. Nowadays all official functions have a small or
large sacrifice, "ch'alla", which in its simple form is to offer beer to
Mother earth, Pachamama, and can get more complex as the event is more
important - the Presidents inauguration was spent at a mighty gathering
of shamans and such in Tiwanaku.
a ggogle on Evo Morales Tiwanaku gave me this as first link (I
personally didn't follow the link to the pictures - nothing encouraging
found in watching pagans doing their thing):

Bolivia is a confessional state, that is, it recognizes the Catholic
faith as the religion of the State. The new proposed constitution (a
shoo in in the January referendun) eliminates that. Well, that must not
be so bad, yes? well, if replacing Catholicism by paganism is any
improvement... Not in the words, but that is the actual cause and result.

Many in the political oposition are evangelicals. Very few, if any in
the government show that affiliation.

Bottom line: to introduce oneself as an evangelical can be a handicap if
one, as in my case, is forced to coordinate with the government.
