I think you have a point here. Apple, by being very public in their
support, seems to have crossed a line (as someone else said). By being
super-public in their support, it is easy to see that one could say
that they have gone too far. Apple chose to draw a line in the
sand--or cross that line... for many people. I know that my own
support (which, to be honest, has been waning in recent years) is
being challenged in a big way... However, Apple haven't reached that
point yet. I run Ubuntu on my Wind, and my wife is now running Xandros
on her eee--our two main computers--at this point, only our children
are likely to resist a change. :-) In any case, Apple's _public_ and
vocal support seems to be that line that has been crossed.

For the record, we don't have any cable tv or satellite. But think of
how the internet is the largest cess pool that has ever existed--and
there are no real controls to keep it out entirely.... what to do?
