Eventually, ALL communications will be digital - NO analog will be
supported. I don't like to be a "date setter," but I think it's a fair
assessment to expect some major changes in this direction by the end of
this year. The ONLY thing that can change that are dedicated FAX and
modems that are digital.....not analog. To date, I can't find any.

Our phone service is digital because it's a LOT cheaper than any analog
service I can get here. This "killed" my being able to FAX invoices,
etc. I use my professional photo scanner to create a good image of
whatever isn't created on a 'puter and file attach an image. I bought it
because of the need for a high-end scanner for pro. photo work. It now
does dual duty. ;) Legally, a scan is as good as a FAX and preferred by
most because the quality is so much better.

A: Because it messes up the order in which people normally read text.
Q: Why is top-posting such a bad thing?
