[CS-FSLUG] Linux on ipod

Well, the new 6th Gen iPod classic has a security hash that makes it  
harder to sync to Linux, however the gPod (IIRC) library that the  
major music jukeboxes use has a fix. I think Slashdot had it a couple  
days ago. You'll need that. It'll be worth it though -- it's nice  
that the 6th Gen has CoverFlow, which is just really neat.

It's too bad that iTunes isn't available for Linux, because iTunes 
+iPod together is a thing of beauty how well it works. But, most of  
the enjoyment from an iPod is in the iPod itself, so I think you will  
be very pleased.

Congrats on winning it! I actually won an iPod myself a couple of  
months ago -- a 5G (video) iPod 30 GB. It seems CS users have a  
relatively good chance of winning these puppies! :-)
