Or may lead to exceptional excellence in order to

Given the recent conduct of Harvard, not to mention
their historic abandonment of anything but a false
pretext of Christianity, I'd hardly accept the postulate
that their non-profit status contributed to "producing
mature graduates".

Harvard is the leader in grade inflation and spends
more time puffing it's reputation than in assuring
that they produce well-rounded graduates.

We could easily phase-out all government "public"
schools from day care through college in about
10 years and greatly improve the quality and
availability of education.

Unfortunately the vested interests care more about
preserving power and a forum for liberal indoctrination
to permit such a progressive action -- despite the
harm that government controlled schools continue to
do to our children.
