[CS-FSLUG] Memory Sticks

I have three memory sticks, 250mb, 250mb and 1gb and I have the USB
ports to keep them all installed all the time.  BUT...it has occur ed
to me that this may not be a good idea.

Will the continued connection likely cause any degradation in their
performance or cause a shortening of their lifetime?
