These are masks, not addresses.

I've always used separate routers, but here's some comments...

I'm thinking default gateway on SUSE system should be 
71.68.104.83.  Default gateway on other systems should be 192.168.2.3

I think you only need ip forwarding on the "outside" link - eth0 in this case.
