Oh my, legalism...
There were some treaties signed among certain aliens and the (by both
sides) accepted "legal owners" of the land.  All of them but one were
_____ (fill the blank) by those aliens.  Who, having won, now make the
laws - but depend on breaking them every day to clean up after
themselves or to run overseas factories (where very conveniently, other
"laws" apply, regarding such issues as minimal wage, environmental
issues, child labor, use of police brutality...).

There is a Higher Law.
Let's stick to it.

Ye shalt treat others as ye want to be treated, on whatever version you
prefer.
