Having had to TRY to install XP w/SP2 on a LOT of very minimal systems, with
the objective of having any semblance of practice performace for a moderately
busy office, I can assure you that his "system requirements" are BOGUS at
best!

Now, having said all that, SUSE, R.H., or any other distro. if installed with
the latest KDE, OpenOffice, etc., ISN'T going to be a "hot" performer on that
same box either. However, IF you set up the box properly using a journaling
file system for all partitions, create at least a 1G swap partitian, tweeking
all the "performace" settings (which you can't do in XP), once loaded it WILL
out-perform XP hands down. 'NEVER had it fail. And, speaking of "fail," ALL
boxen stayed up without failure with SUSE, and that NEVER was the case with
XP.

So, IMHO, that site is a mixed bag - some accurate info. to make it look
good. ;)
