I am not claiming to know the day or time nor even the decade.
The Bible does provide sufficient info. to evaluate the true
closeness of the last days.

In the past they made assertions from ignorance, with the access
we now have to worldwide news it is far more accurate to measure
the circumstances of the place in which we stand in the end times
(the period between which Christ departed and when He returns).

I am unaware of any informed person making a successful argument
that we are not in the latter days of the end times. Are you
aware of someone making such an argument, or merely someone in a
church or denomination somewhere making an unsupported assertion?

Not members who claim to be highly "religious". In Christianity it
is generally only the poorly discipled. Harry Potter is so obviously
a stalking horse for witchcraft and a tool of the enemy that one
must worry about the absence of the Holy Spirit (who is highly
offended) in those who claim to read HP with no sense of discomfort.

In Islam the report is that HP is popular among those who claim
a high level of commitment to the Koran and who judge others to
be less committed to their faith.
