I just had to respond to this article:

I took the author to task (gently) for failing to point out
alternatives, such as Creative Commons and the GNU FDL.  I know there
are others, but these are still the main two.  At any rate, I would
encourage others to read and send the author an e-mail, possibly
mentioning the other free licenses.
