Well, brother, your paranthetical insertion there is not necessarily 
accurate. It harkens to verse 20, where "they" is identified as those 
who would come to Him via the word of the Disciples.

The question remains: are we talking about the Church as all those in 
Christ regardless of affiliation or lack thereof, or the Church as the 
organized institution. If the latter, you are deeply mistaken. The human 
organization is merely a tool to get the work of the Gospel done. When 
it no longer serves the purpose, it is discarded in favor of a better one.
