There ARE issues created by the new 2.6.* kernel that I am certain will be 
fixed by the time SUSE 9.2 releases in Dec., I assume then anyway. EVERY 
release that uses the 2.6.* kernel has performance issues (among other 
issues), so it's just a matter of time before it all gets worked out. The 
kernel was and is a BIG step in getting Linux deeper into the Enterprise, 
etc., but there's still a lot of work to be done on it, modules, etc.
