My advice is not to get fussed about it. One of the things people tend to 
do on lists is to announce that they are leaving because they've been 
offended by something, with the predictable result that others on the 
list rush to do anything to convince them to stay, so the list won't lose 
a member. It's essentially a form of emotional blackmail akin to a 
suicide attempt. In this particular case, it fell a little flat for me, 
since we weren't in the middle of a flamewar, and since I hadn't been 
paying much attention to Christopher's postings in the first place. 
Looking back through my deleted messages folder, I do not see any nasty 
responses to his postings, which makes me wonder if what he's really mad 
about is that he hasn't been able to hijack the group to discuss 
homosexuality with that "Boboka Statement" post.
