Yes, but what distribution -- other than Debian -- provides such a
stable platform with long releases and security back porting?
What distribution provides nearly 10,000 packages?
What distribution provides three clearly differentiated tiers (stable,
testing and unstable) so that one may choose exactly what one wants
concerning stability?
What distribution combines all this with a super strict Free Software
policy to insure that only truly Free Software is placed in the main
distribution?
What distribution provides superior binary management with the ability
to convert source packages into normal binary packages in just a few
moments?
There's only one "apt" to do all this. :-P
